How to make heart shaped cinnamon rolls
- Mix together the yeast, sugar, and warm milk. Make sure the milk is between 100 and 110 degrees Fahrenheit. If it is warmer it can damage or inactivate the yeast. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes to allow the yeast to bloom.
- Add in the eggs, vanilla, melted butter, and salt and mix.
- Add in the flour and knead the dough for 5-7 minutes. I prefer to do this in my mixer, but it can be done by hand as well!

- Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour or until it has doubled in size.

- Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface to form an approximate 10 inch by 12 inch rectangle.

- Mix together the cinnamon, butter, and brown sugar for the filling in a bowl.
- Spread the filling mixture onto the dough all the way to the edges.

- Roll each of the long sides of the dough to the middle.

- Cut the rolled dough into 1 inch slices, placing the slices in a greased 9x13inch dish. Pinch the ends of the rolls to form a heart shape.

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Let the rolls rise for about 30 minutes.
- Bake the rolls for 30-35 minutes or until they start to turn golden brown.

- Mix together the butter, cream cheese, vanilla, and powdered sugar for the cream cheese frosting and spread it over the rolls while they are still warm.

- This recipe makes 12 large cinnamon rolls.
